I bought a shifter linkage rebuild kit from Hasport. So when I put my car up to pull the LCAs and to install the block off plate, I’ll add this to the list. I have to pull the linkage and grind out a rivet to install this. It replaces the worn rubber parts.
I looked at all the bushings etc to replace those in the shifter assembler and it gave me pause. It didn’t seem like something I’d wanna do without supervision on a daily driver! LOL More power to ya.

Starting to install a alarm, running wire to add power locks and will run another pair for speakers so i don’t have to use the factory wire. This part sucked because so much shit was in the way lol

Any work under the drivers side dash is a PITA. Guess it’s the same for RHD and LHD models.
Yeah it actually seemed harder on the rhd for some reason. It took me a while to get it through. Was ready to pull the fender lol

BTW what alarm did you get? I had to remove all of mine because the brains for both went haywire. I’ve been using other means for security.

Yeah the fee’s are crazy, i only do container shipping now and won’t even do airmail on small parts. The company allthingzjdm i got my car from and imported with does container shipping and they don’t charge extra for tariffs.
I went thru the UpGarage website. The fees werent too awful. I only had two options for shipping; FedEx & DHL. Sadly no EMS.
Ive been looking for an affordable unmodified set of these for a while so im pretty happy with what i paid compared the the inflated prices of sets already stateside
Pulled the LCAs out tonight, and got started pulling the shift linkage to rebuild the U-joint. Gonna borrow a buddy’s impact gun to do the timing belt.

damn those are rusty. i want to replace mine so bad because that middle bushing is toast
yep the shop said the bushings were “very cozy where they were”
