100 shot NOS Ls motor question?

Well i have a freind here that wants to go nitrous charge and he wants to go with a stage 2 NOS kit. What can he do if he wants to make his motor to take that much NOS?

pistons , rods , fuel pump , injectors , and a good tune would help

well money to him is not a problem and he has a set of ITR pistons so can anyone post their specs of who here has run more than a 100 shot of NOS he like to get some idea’s and his integra wont be a daily driver.

i would use a good set of forged pistons not stock itr pistons

No matter what the motor will eventually go…

agreed

i’ll be spraying somewhere around a 80-100 shot to start off on my ls. direct port setup of course. i have no idea what a stage 2 setup is?! if you are talking about a 2-stage setup, that will only help to keep traction in 2nd gear if you spray in 2nd. i would tell him keep it at an 80 shot. get a good clutch and flywheel with a short geared tranny, nx direct port kit with gen-x2 upgrade on a 94-up or itr style intake manifold. a progressive controller wouldn’t hurt either…thats pretty much my setup for the most part.

i didn’t know they make motors that last forever now? where can i buy one?

if you build the motor right… it will only need rings every so often… everything else should hold up

if you are going thru rings you have a serious problem.
i found this stage 2 nitrous setup…biggest bs setup ever. i wouldn’t use it ever, it’s a n2o cartridge from a whipped cream thing. LOL

ditto. You can make motors last forever. My friends dad has an 90 accord with 600,000 miles on it…all hes used is Oil, gas and timing belts. Still has the original transmission. Only changed the clutch once.

Thats a consisntant 40k miles a year since '90…that motor is just a freak.

How’s the rest of the chassis?

thats alot of hwy… u forgot tires…

If money is not an issue, tell him to completly rebuild the motor, or buy a GSR motor and rebuild it if he is a vtec fan and turbo it…

Wow I cant belive somone bought that, and those arent used for whipped cream, there for paintball/bb guns…I just looked at that and went…WOW :gunleft:

no. no. no. that’s co2, these are n2o. you never used a ‘do it yourself’ whipped cream bottle? the refillable type. geesh, i haven’t seen one since the 4th grade.

Usual rust above the rear wheels.
Nothing crazy…Yeah its called the Blue Miracle. Nothing should work that well
