I swapped in some Sylvania XtraVision bulbs into my car, and… Low beams still suck lol. I’m window shopping and looking at Morimoto 2stroke LED headlight bulbs. Not sure if they’re worth it but it seems like they actually focus the beam.
I had a negative experience with Beamtech bulbs in my WRX a few years back, zero light focus.
You should also check what voltage you get at headlights, maybe there is some voltage drop for some reason.
I mean the USDM headlights should focus the light enough (I’m basing what you have installed by your avatar).
You have really bad scatter going on?
Not bad scatter, just anemic output. I suppose I could put them on relays if they aren’t already. I did that with my Corvette and it helped significantly
Yeah the only way I got decent output on the aging wiring was via the LED option. Car felt like it had new life with the reduced load. It was remarkable.
