Ooof. I was so busy this weekend that I only focused on stuff I knew I could complete: G2IC orders and a quick model of the license bolt hole cover. I don’t think I’m gonna get much done at all this week too.
I envy people who have free time. My project list is so long that it’s depressing. /vent
Need to win the lottery already. This “work” crap sucks. What a time suck.
Don’t feel so bad. Get this, my friend bought a helicopter 17 years ago, had two minor crashes with it, and has been fixing it for the last 15 years. All the while with a broken seadoo in the back yard, a decaying 89 accord with a JDM b18c in it in the driveway, and another parts car in the backyard. But still thinks everything will get done.
I’d you haven’t touched something in five years, work to get rid of it. It’s just a drain on your mental time and energy.
Yeah, only with the AC on. If the ac is off it idles at 1000. Ive been tinkering with it all day to no avail.
Been refering to this forum but i cant seem to find the threads with the actual solutions, just the dozens of threads of people asking for them and snarky replies telling them to look for where its actually been answered.
With AC on does put an electrical load on the system, I would load test both your alternator and battery first see if they are in good condition, free testing at AutoZone .
Thats actually where i started. Both alternator and battery are good. Then i checked for vacuum leaks, fixed the leak and still happening. Now im stumped
