The integra is in my buddy’s garage which is about 40 minutes from my apartment, and the in-laws are in town this weekend, so work won’t resume until next Saturday. Waiting around is a bummer.

my trunk is so hard to slam shut i think im going to try to adjust my hood latch.
I haven’t been able to remove those screws that let you adjust it. It sucks. I’ve had to use the tape on the locking bar trick for years now.
thats funny because when i got the car it came with electrical tape on the striker bar but it has since fallen off and I have tried to put some back but sometimes it takes like 5 slams to close

Yeah! I even tried the impact screwdriver with the pb blaster and NOTHING.

Surprise work session on the car today! Got about 4 hours in and I was able to get all the mounts on, drop the heat shield, remove the auto shifter and cable, drill holes and install the manual shifter, bolt up all the bell housing bolts, and bolt in the VSS and the starter. We’re getting close!
What’s left now: Clutch cable, pedals. Battery tray, intake and battery. Finish bolting up the heat shield. Bolt in the intermediate shaft, crossmember and downpipe. Bolting back in the front suspension. Then wiring enough to drive back to my apartment. Not a whole lot!
