you made 450whp with the stock map sensor? and a SSAUTOCRAP mani.
Hp was made with a 2 bar map sensor. The manifold has not hendered the performance of my car one bit and I have been using it for well over a year now with no problems.

While its not the setup i would have neccesarily went with, im sure his car would walk all over yours, so have a lil respect noob.
Bump for an old school member that knows how to put a car together Whats next Mike, another GN?
quickda6-thanks bro. I have the GN getting a restoration makeover right now then its off to the chassis shop for the roll cage and Wolfe Bar suspension. Then I have a date with Job Spetter Jr for some fine tunning.
Shit, we have 2 hotrod class cars that we sponsor that have been tuned by Job. They are both using the new Big Stuff software. We are only about an hour or so from his spot in Jersey, you oughta stop on by if you go there for the tuning.
SO what type of engine is this a b16 turbo or is it a ls/vtec with a tubro. I am guessing ls/vtec because if you got 450 whp out of a b16 your the man.
 surely walk my sleeved sc61 power’d DA… noob I am not. I saw a stock map sensor in the pic, this lead me to believe his story is B.S. I was wrong.
wow, sleeves and a bandwagon turbo. you must be a god.
Noob you are… We are bringing our SFWD cars to Moroso on August 20-21, so if you wanna have the smack layed down on ya, line it up
On a side note, the 61 is a nice ass turbo, im using the T4 version on my SC300.
EDIT: Dont get all butt-hurt, im just fuckin with ya.
you know me quickie. always one for a smartass remark.
quickda6- Actually Job Spetter Jr. is good friends with Paul from Splitfire. He tunes Paul’s own personal cars along with some customers. So Job is usually up here once or twice every 2 months( only half hour away from me). Once I get her tunned we will see how well she does at the track. Just put in a T400 with a transbrake, driveshaft loop and custom 3.5" steel driveshaft. Also got the rear end strengthened up with a Eaton posi, c-clips, Moser axles and billet 3.42 Richmond gears. It feels very strong right now so time will tell.
juiced2ndgenteg- I don’t know how you can see a stock map sensor in the car when it is sitting in my toolbox for the last 3 years. 450 was done on pump gas as a 2 bar map allows in excess of 15-16psi. So I too would be more then willing to pull beside your whip.
AEM 3.5bar map sensors read to 30+psi, meth injection allows me 25+ psi on 93 octane. I’d love to see you driving next to me… anyways, it looked like you have the map in its stock location with a vacume line connected to it. On further viewing I confirmed it was not.
just because it’s possible doesn’t mean you’re doing it.
Now now kids, I’ve got a turboed teg too. Don’t hate, congratulate. We share something in common here, we’re here to help one another, not be dicks to one another. Shake hands, shake hands.
i only shake one thing. my wang, when i’m done eliminating bladder contents.
mike good choice on keepin 3.42’s in the gn , got any vids? i ran 11.76 with a beefed up trans stock posi , bfg drag radials, and a gt3255 etc… gotta love those buicks.
GN’s
was that 450hp on stock internals? your car is freakin sweet!
clemsonteg- It was done with a 81.5mm bore stock block and crank, fitted with Eagle rods, forged pistons and a block guard.
dattegbol-not yet, but soon. The car will still be down for another month or so. I got alot of things lined up once I get her back home. I have my 10.6 @ 129mph pass on my camcorder but I do not know how to transfer it to my computer. That was going to be a good run if the tranny didn’t let go on me after the 1/8th mile.
Once the restoration is complete I will post some pics of her.
