91 GS Heat Issues

Hey guys, haven’t posted on here in a while, well, because i haven’t had any problems in a while lol, i picked up a 91 GS back in February from the stealership, (made a hell of a deal) needed a radiator, replaced it… then found out the HG was shot. replaced that too, also decided to use ARP head studs, as well as replace my Thermostat, and all my hoses. now she runs, but im having heat issues ): the reason i went into detail about that is because i’ve done my research and i know alot of threads ive checked out, say “check your radiator” “you need a new thermostat” so i just wanted to clear that up. The car warms up to temp and the fan kicks on in the engine compartment, however when i turn the dial for the fan from low to high it starts making a whirring or buzzing noise and when it is at full blast it sounds like its shaking and vibrating under stress… no air comes out either, hot or cold. i also saw that there is a “cable underneath the passenger side of the dash” i should check out as well as a “valve somewhere in the engine bay that connects to a tiny box”? i will look into that. Any information or experience with fixing heat problems would be awesome!!! thanks you all!

It sounds like your blower is at fault. The inner fan part could have possibly sheared off at the shaft causing it to rattle around loosely when the motor tries to turn it. I’ve seen it happen before. It’s located by the passenger foot area behind the glovebox.

Alright thanks for the advice ill have to get out and check and see if that’s the issue when it isn’t pouring rain out hahah
