just curious, im buying a new exhaust system and I like the skunk2 system but they make it for 92-93 ls gs rs gsr, curious if it has major fitment issues between 90-91 and 92-93 cat-back systems. not in specific to the skunk2 system but for any exhaust.

It won’t directly fit on to a 90 or 91 teg, because of different header and cat lengths. For it to fit a 91, the front pipe with the resonator would have to be shortened if im not mistaken, because in some exhaust systems like Tanabe, they include a little two inch piece of piping which u have to bolt on to the front pipe…I dont know if Skunk2 does or not, if not, ull have to get like that much cut off.

Haha good choice. With Tanabe, they have two different part numbers for that exhaust, one for the 90-91 w/o the adaptor and another for the 92-93 which includes the adaptor, so they save u the hassle of having to get that crap done.
