Guys, I need a little help. My teg is running fine but my friend’s Civic Si (99) is giving him a little trouble. His ecu is throwing some codes and I don’t have a list of codes for his Civic. I’m asking for help in this forum because you guys are very friendly (unlike clubsi.com) and always help out others. Does anyone know where I can get those codes. Thanks!!
I work at a Honda Dealership, and the only thing I can do besides mailing you a book of codes (which I can’t do) is tell you the ECU Clear/Reset steps. Here goes nothing. Start vehicle ad DO NOT HIT ACCELLERATOR. Manual - leave out of gear, Auto - park. Radio Off, All accessories off, vent, ac, everything off. allow vehicle to idle (outside, DUH) for approx 10 mins. cooling fans will kick in, and when they shut off shut car off. The ECU Should reset itself. If this is no help, email me… PS, check out my news site…
