sooooo coming home on friday my battery light came on so i thought damn the alternator is on its way out so i did the disconnect the battery test and it shut off!! soooo i thought i was gonna need a new one soooo i did some research and found someone had the same issue but it turned out there alternator just came loose so i went to go check mine and sure enough it was loose put it back on and sure enough thats what it was so yay!!!
So today i was just randomly browsing through a car parts group on fb and found a cute chick with a clean db1 selling the fender covers for my car i was expecting a high amount but i did the double take when she told me she wanted 15 bucks for them!!! so i picked that up and upon arrival she convinced me to take a AEM cold air she had so i ended up paying 40 bucks total thats a damn steal!!! its true what they say good deals pop up every so often!!!
So after washing what i thought was heavy dust on the intake and coming to realize that it was completely all fading i stripped it completely and down to the metal and primered it before work.
Came back from work and gave it a light sanding and hit it with some glossy black
then finally tomorrow once i get off i will hit it with a gloss coat that has silver flake in it for a nice finish also Ordered a Blox velocity stack adapter for it since it didnt come with a filter
also finally got my fender covers on =)
So came home today and found a little gift at my doorstep!
just need to do a little cutting tomorrow at the work shop and buy a reducer coupler and she should be mounted thursday =)

15 bucks for fender pieces good deal, they are not oem, looksk like a third party. Never seen oem look like that. correct me if i am wrong
no youre right they are the aftermarket ones but they didnt last long one flew off haha didnt even notice it.

Not much of an update since the car is just in the garage and im going to vegas in a week so i had to save up for that but in the meanwhile i finally got new shift linkeage bushings that are going on as soon as i come back
And a buddy of mine had a b20 valve cover sitting around so i took it stripped it and wrinkled it and thought it looked awesome with my downstar inc valve cover spike kit

Hey guys its been a while had allooottt going on but finally started working on my car since its been sitting for a while little by little imma get to where i wanna be for now starters it was a pain to smog my car but finally got it done a little pricey but done. My tags are due in a couple of weeks so it had to be done. I was going to get new wheels but when i began taking off my lug nuts they were rusted on there pretty good and broke off 3 from different wheels so the car sat and finally got my hands on some extended studs from blox and new spline lug nuts no more of those stupid extended lug nuts since im sure they are the cause of my studs stripping in the first place
Then my bumper has been sagging for quite some time and since the tabs on the fenders are broken and cant put a screw to hold them up i just went ahead and bought some bumper quick releases to make it look alot better i think so…
next is getting the studs put on and going back to see what wheels konig has in stock and might get me the konig lightweights with a low offset since they discontinued the flat outs which i fell in love with!!
[B]Sooooo its been a while since i updated but my health has not been the greatest lately so i had put the project on hold until i got better and im finally making progress and guess what!!! parts!!!
I needed wheels bad! I was driving to the doctor one day and boom! the passenger side studs took a dump! so i finally put in my extended studs[/B]
Well i got the studs in and well you cant have new studs and not throw on some nice lookin wheels to break them in so i luckily by slim chance!!! The Konig warehouse by my house had some Konig Flatouts in stock! So i jumped on em and got some nice tires to go with em
i like how the wheels on the car i just need it to be a little bit lower and ill be ok with it

I finally got around to ordering my Password JDM 3 piece strut bar!
[SIZE=4]I also felt my stock shifter really loose so i ordered a K-Tuned Short Shifter super excited on it!!![/SIZE]
I also emailed the guys over at JDP Engineering and i am getting a custom carbon fiber flush mount spoiler made should be here within the next week or so
