sum 1 PLEASE help, !!! pleaseeeeeeee

the b20 head is 81mm too so no biggie. Don’t know if milling the head will give any clearance problems or anythingatall.

milling is something totally different than what you are thinking about, milling is taking material off the bottom of the head, what you need done is enlargening of the combustion chamber from 81mm to 84mm to make it most efficeint.

Careful if you get the combustions chamber enlarged, you’ll lose something like .4 cr. Better quench area though, i understand. Maybe the milling will make up for the loss. And as for the clearance issue i mentioned, i don’t know if you’ll have enough valve to piston clearance…?? I know when they put the b16a head on the crv block, its an issue, but i havn’t heard anything about ls/v problems. I would wonder if perhaps the b20z piston rises higher?? I’d find out from sombody who knows first.

I think i heard that it costs about 150 to get the chamber enlarged, that wouldn’t be worth it to me unless i was building all out beast (w/ high comp. pistons). If Honda decided the mismatch was ok…

Daver, which serial killer is in your avatar?

Well that’s me…with a few photoshop modifications. I always thought that maybe if i looked menacing in my liscense photo, I’d scare the cop away. No wait, this one was my student card pic…

next i’m thinking of trying the western look with the handle bar moustache.
