NOTE: The headlights have been buffed since then.[/QUOTE]

How do you make ur moldings so glossy?

da92, man that car is about a tits looking as it gets. Mine was originally red, but when I bought it someone painted black and was a cheap paint job so all my jams and engine bay are red. I am shooting for next year to get mine on the level you have yours. How much money do you think you have invested over time building it up to what it looks like today? Just interested so I can get an idea of how much more I will be possibly spending to get it on the, “fukin nice car”, level.

You can get stuff (I use Boss Gloss) to rub on them and gloss them up.

peace man, PEACE!

:bump:

Well, Ive never really added it up. but I’d say $6-$8K

Its still not done yet, I still have to finish the suspension.

Skunk2 Racing Coilovers, Im on the Skunk2 Springs now
Avid Racing front Tracttion bars
Lower front & Lower Rear Tie Bars (havnt decided on a brand…open to suggestions)
Strut tower bar, C-Pillar Bar
Skunk2 Racing UCA Camber kit…(already Purchased, sitting on a shelf in garage LOL)

Ive also got a full turbo kit in the garage, but I dont know if I wanna boost. Im torn between LS/VTEC…then boost= :werd: or just LS Boost. I know the benefits of both im just torn…

Well nice car again, it is tits.

I am going the same route as you, but I am only shooting for around 250-275 as my DD, and buying a DC and going all motor track rat with that one.

For the front lower tie I am going with the cusco. Havent heard anything about it from anyone, but I am going to give it a shot. Look into EM racing if you havent. They got the c-pillar, rear upper strut, c to strut tie, trunk brace, trunk to strut tie. Will make a big Z from the c-pillar back. EM racing is an awsome brand from what I have read.

I am not sure if I am going with a traction bar though. I am not really into launching mine from a dig, since it is my DD. Do you have sways yet? What are your plans for yours? DD/meets/shows only, DD/meets/shows with occasional track/strip, or strictly track/strip and meets/shows? I am going for the second one minus the strip, maybe once or twice just to see what I can put down.

DA92nv just a random question… How mch did you spend on your paint job? Looking for a paint job like yours and dont know what im in for $$$ wise.

DD/meets/shows w/ occasional track and very rarely strip. I want the traction bars for the show part of it really, but every now and again I do tend to get pedal happy and stomp on it. Therefore I will have elimated my wheelhop & strengthened the lower front chassis member.

And iv’e got a buddy of mine who has been using Cusco for quite a while now and he swears by them! The only thing is they do not make a front strut tower bar for an ABS DA, they do make one for the non-ABS (like mine) options auto salon ( Integra 90-93-optionsauto.com ) carries their full line of suspension peices for the DA and very well priced I might add! You will be very satisfied with theie product! I am thinking about Cusco myself…and I love their Blue! Very close to the Civic SI blue!!

You should be expecting around $2k-$3k for a quality job. Some guys are gonna wanna remove glass and things, and if they take their time on taping and masking, you dont have to pay the crazy beans to get that done. We taped off my windows and things and even left the doors and fenders on, we did however remove all of the moldings and as much trim as we could ( or knew how)

As you can see, it looks just as good. I got a quote from 1 nut for $6000!! He tried to tell me that he had 1 million dollar booths and that his guys were top notch and he was gonna take the whoooole car apart and things. I was like " dude, this is a 16yr old car, are you fucking nuts?!" LOL

Anyhow, if you find a mom and pop shop, who would let you come by every now and then to watch progress on a current project that you can see “proof” of his craftsmanship…you’ll be golden! STAY AWAY FROM THE BIG PLACES!..YOU WILL ONLY BE PAYIN THEIR BILLS!

truff. make sure you let them know your gonna check in before-hand. i could tell the guy who painted my car would get pissed when i would come check up. he did good work but he was taking his sweet ass time.

Thanks for the advice deff staying away from big shops. I started disassembling moldings and such already for paint its just finding a shop worthy.

Oh ill check it out

is the lip paint black too?
i left mine unpainted and i was wondering how i go about to get it look like my moldings

 very nice!

i’ve been considering “time attack style” rims on my milano red…i dont think it’ll look too bad, now. And it looks really tempting for me to lower my car more haha…
