I picked up that badboy in November 2006, saw it on Craigslist for $3500, only had ~ 128,000 miles (clean title). I checked it out and it was sooooo cherry, the inside was like it was just off the showroom floor.
So I bought it right there and then, and sold my other 1993 Intgera LS (salvaged title) 191,000 miles and tons of little issues,for $1500!! after I thought I could only get $1000 for it, so this 1993 red GS-R which is loaded, except for the leather interior, which I’m sure would’ve been thrashed after 14 years, I got for only $2000!!! Major upgrade for such a cheap price man!
That GS-R motor is soooo smooth…plus I’m glad I don’t have to deal with leakage under the dashboard on the passenger side (yes the infamous passenger leak). Everything works on this car!!! It’s sooooo nice man!!!

Rice, did you have to mod the cupholders at all? How do they hold?
yeah… it was hella difficult tryin to pull that out of the taurus myself…and kept test fitting it to see how much i had to shave off, then drop the cage and cupholder in at the same time…
it can only hold bottle of waters and soda cans… fitting a fast food drink in there wont be able to fit cuz of the AC climate control setting… and your fingers do run in to it. when u shift to first,third and 5th…i just shift with my palm instead of grabbing it. let me kno if u have any questions, ill try and help
