Difficult if you haven’t worked with fibreglass before. If it’s your first time using it, it’ll take some getting use to. It’s actually not that bad, it just takes time. From the initial template, you SHOULD install your speakers, make sure the imaging is where you want it (this is what took me the most time), THEN fibreglass to hold it in place. After that, it’s just building enough layers for strength, smoothing out with bondo and sanding (optional, but gives good look), and painting/covering with vinyl/carpet.
I didn’t relocate any wiring, I just built on top of our existing kick panels that hide the wiring (and i removed the dead pedal from the drivers side).
It also depends on how large a driver you are trying to fit down there.
If you are serious, there are step-by-step instructions that can easily be found on the net. If you can’t find any, I can write you what I did.
Do you have pics or your setup?
TIA
Sorry. Don’t have a scanner or a digital camera (I should by now though). My pods aren’t even in my car now, they’ve been sitting on my workshelf for a few months now while I re-do certain things.
You probably know that www.sounddomain.com has lots of pics of Integra set-ups, I’m sure there are a few there with kick panels.
