Anyone have NOS in a 1.8 non-vtec? If so give me some details
i have nitrous, ZEX system. easy to put in, easy to use. bottle ran out kinds quick, i just got a little happy with it. maybe u could say what kind of input your looking for.
I have the NOS EFI kit. It is a dry manifold kit that injects the nitrous through the intake tubing. I run a conservative 50 shot on my b18a.
So how easy was the nitrous kit to hook up. Does it tear apart the b18a at all? What doies it feel like when the nitrous is beeing injected? where have you mounted the bottles?
Also, I want to run the NOS efi kit as well, but I dont know anythoing about shots of nitrous or that stuff. Also do you think that it would tear apart my engine with 120k on it?
Installation of the EFI kit was pretty easy. The instruction that came with the NOS kit was pretty good.
Even with a 50 shot, the rpm rose much more quickly, but doesn’t give you the wipe lash I would like. The bottle was mounted to a board and was tied down by the middle seat belts 
ghetto I know.
I used to street race with the bottle, haven’t done that for a lonnnnng time (bout 3 years ago and I don’t plan on ever doing it again). My ride has 91K miles and is still running fine. I would think that 50 instantaneous horsepower should add some wear and tear to the motor, but how often does do you really squeeze?
120K, I would do a compression check. If the numbers check out fine, a small shot should be fine.
