I’m talking about how tall the tires are hitting the plastic. The width is fine. 195-60-14 is the stock tire size.
Oh haha my bad… guess I wasn’t thinking. Sucks cuz I found some bmw bottlecaps with 185/65/14 tires on them for a good price. I don;t want to spend more money changing tires… oh well… thanks for the quick reply yo
You should be fine with that tire size, although I have no idea why you’d want to run that size…
mathematically speaking the 185-65 is going to have only a 3mm larger radius and i don’t see that being a rubbing issue. Plus, usually when you rub it’s because your tires are wide or have wheels of a strange offset.
I ran 195-55-15’s on my car (same overall diameter as 185-65-14) when it was lowered 3-3.5" and had no rubbing issues whatsoever.
It’s all about offset… well, and wheel width and then tire size too
With the stock wheels he’ll be fine. As long as he’s not rubbing now he shouldn’t be with those different tires. But again, why the hell would you buy that size tire

Colin, reason I asked about the size is because I was planning to buy some rims that already has that size on there that’s why I was kinda hestitant to buy it since I might rub.
I wouldn’t want to buy that size tires anyways but since it came with the rims, I have no choice… so I was curious. Thanks for all the replies so far…
