just saw thisgrill kit from ebay, thinking of getting it to match my white rims. Has anyone here bought this before for your car? Any feedback from the seller? thx

It looks well-made, but I can see at the sides that it seems to be falling out of the bumper. Ask them how it’s secured.
Yah, they look pretty good.
I wouldnt buy it from him, check his feedback.
out of 240 people that left feedback
24 or 10% had a negative comment
14 or 6% hada netrual comment
being a seller on ebay i can understand a couple neutral maybe a negative, but this guy has kind of a lot.
just making everyone aware.
HTH
I emailed a guy who bought a 92-93 teg grill from them, and he said the fitment sucked and he had to modify it to get it to fit flush. He said it basically sucked and to not buy it. Also, that guy has waaay to much negative feedback to buy from like teg2nv said. HTH
Yeah I’m the guy who emailed “Adamm”. I bought a grill from these guys on ebay last week.
First of all, it didn’t fit at all, it was to large. I had to trim it down.
One other thing is that the edges of the grill are very badly cut. If you are not careful you could easily scratch your paint.
I decided not to use it. I will be making my own instead.
Cheers,
Chris…

Good to see you joined man. I love this forum and I’m sure you will too.
oh man why now :bang: !? Just made my order before I saw your posts guys. Some feedbacks were good. I think I saw overdriveZ (welcome) only g2 feedback there thats saying some fitment issue but I didn’t care and still made my purchase. Just can’t stop my craving for modding my car thats why I did it. And too lazy to do it myself and i’m a little bit challenged on that field. Well just pray this time he would make a better one. :bang:
That’s rough man. Looks like you wasted your money. Maybe you can put it up for sale on ebay. BTW, I see you live in AZ. Did you get your rims at “rim1” on 64th st that has those crazy deals and a store full of 17’s ?
just swapped it with my 99gsr blades with my friend who have a 92gsr. He bought it somewhere really cheap but he didn’t like it because it slowed his gsr down.
Saw a thread that you guys are planning to meet at kiwanis park. I know that place I just played in a Filipino basketball leauge in their gym. It’s kinda far from me but I’ll try go there with my friend. Hey do you know a good import car store here? I’ve been calling some stores here for some shifter bushing and they don’t have none. If you got some phone no. I’ll appreciate it.
later.
A good import shop around here that I know of, is Versus Motor sports. I don’t have the phone number, but you can pick up a import autotrader at circle k and look in the back where all of the ads are. I hate going there though because there are always packs of ricers that go there and it’s seriouslly exactlly like the fast and furious in there with all of the ricers. The stor is full of rice too, but they have some nice stuff too. I pick up little stuff from there like shift nobs, ss shifters, hyper white bulbs. etc.
The most awesome shop is landspeed racing. It is a mail order place so it’s not really a shop. Just a little oiffice with a couple of guys in cubicles. They have a huge ass where house and a lot of local import shops buy from them. So you can just call them and see if the part is in stock and arrange for pick up. Than you just go down there, pay them, and pick the part up. It’s by far the best shop and they don’t sell cheap ass obx kind of crap. Strictlly awesome performance parts. No rice. There number is 1-888-69-SPEED.
HTH homie

Yah, I figured that’s what he did. At first when I saw it, I thought it was a real grill with a lip around the edge. Upon closer inspection, It’s just chicken wire cut and spray painted. I’m sure the edges are all jagged and cut the crap out of everything.
come on guys thats enough torturing. Well I’ll just wait for my chicken grill and I’ll post some pics of my new custom chicken grill.:bawl:
thanks for the heads up Adamm for that phone# I’m thinking of getting a catback soon.
im not trying to torture you just telling you he lives like 2 streets away i see him in his garage cutting away with wire cutters every day! you would be amazed how many peeps buy his stuff! He bought a civic with the $$ and old hatch modle and hes droping all kinds of $$ into it! you should go look at it cause well…you donated to his fix my car up fund! lol:p
just got the kit today after almost a month:mad: It’s official that his kit really suck. Got an unpainted one after a dozen of emails telling him send me a white one. And It doesnt fit, the grill he sent me is too big to fit in the front bumper and needs some cutting to do. The pics at ebay are not close to the stuff I got. Just sent him an email about it, and I’m ready to flame him on his feedbacks on ebay.
I’m just warning off you guys of this
atgrills.com :gun2: stuff. BEWARE!
dude not to be mean but i told you! The guy does it like 3 blocks away and i always see him cutting the crap in his garage when i go to my buddies place!
So is that grill meant to be mounted over the existing grill? I bought some mesh grill that needs to be cut, and I would perfer to not cut the existing grill. I am just trying to figure out how secure it will be.
I bought some coated gutter gaurd from Lowe’s for like a $1.xx and made my own using the teg tips.
Cheap and looks great!
