no they are not. axle from all autos and 5spd’s are different
Not to dog on you or anything dave, but are you sure? When I had my auto to 5spd swap they used the same axles that came from the auto… maybe it differs from year to year? ![]()

hey Dev…
How does your straight B20B run? I am thinking of dropping my straight B20B in a G2 teg. Is it a noticeable difference?
CRXMAN - It runs like a champ!! I think I need a new dist. though… It is a very noticeable difference… as some would say on here, its like night and day… VERY MUCH worth every penny

when i bought my 5 speed tranny for my swap, the guy that does all my mechanic work would do it because he said i needed the 5 speed axles. so i am pretty sure that they are different
yes i am positive, they are un-even in length on the auto, that’s why when you do the 5-spd swap you have to have the axles. Iknow this is true on a 92-3, could be diff on the 90-1 but that’s doubtful
the half shafts are different but not the axles themselves.
the only difference there should be in axles is between the abs and non abs axles.
Gigarange is right. There should be no difference from the axles only difference is going to be from abs and non-abs. You can actually use an abs axle on a non-abs car. I’ve done it on mines a couple of times before. I didn’t need to swap axles when I did my auto-5speed swap. Just my .02.
i have a auto with abs, do i have to ask for a specific axle when i go to autozone? j/w caus ei need to change a axle

you need an abs axle…thats all they should be concerned with.
if you get a non abs axle it won’t have the splines on it for the abs sensor to read.
