B&M Short Shifter #45075

I jumped on the opportunity to buy a B&M short shifter Part #45075 from a friend for the price of some pocket lint and a broken button. I have been using a Z.Speed short shifter for a couple of years and never really liked it even with urethane shifter bushings.

First off the B&M shifter is frighteningly heavy. This thing can easily be used as a weapon to mame or mutilate someone. Waaay heavier than the Z.Speed shifter but not too sure over a factory one since I threw mine out 35146843546 years ago. You have to use the factory shift collar which I happened to have laying around!

The shifter has lived up to its worth of pocket lint and a broken button by being short both phyisically and functionally when installed. I am now all smiles with the Mugen shift knob installed. I now reach down to my ankle to make very crisp, precise, SHORT shifts. Even though I am using urethane bushings, the factory bushings would provide the same amount of fun I’m sure.
