b16 to b20z swap

I have a b16 now and want to get rid of it (numerous problems, think i got a lemon) but im convinced on the b20z. Can I use my wiring harness as it is minus the vtec wires or what? I know i need the LS manifold but what else? I planned on using my jdm ys1 with the b20. Thank you

Yes, you can use your existing wiring harness. You also need a LS ECU and LS distributor… everything else will plug in and work fine.

what about the fuel injectors?

You will not be able to use the fuel injectors of the B20Z as they are OBD2 style…
Tainted, you did not mention what year integra you have, its important.

Like I said, everything else will plug in and work fine… including the injectors, since they will be able to plug into your engine wiring harness. Just swap the B16A injectors (the ones you have working in your car right now) and throw them onto the B20 motor. Basically what I did on my hatchback… I had OBD-1 GSR injectors and just threw them onto my OBD-2 B20 motor… threw the OBD-2 injectors away since I had no use for them.

oops 90 integra 1 gen b16 sorry forgot to mention!

Have fun finding a B20Z.

Are the jdm b20s fairly common?

There were a lot more CRV’s sold in the USA than in Japan. Rather than going through all the JDM importers just search around salvage yards.

Well… dont forget that in Japan, B20B were offered in more cars than just the CRV.
It is possible that north america sold more crv’s than Japan did (where did you get that info from?).

I called one JDM engine shop in Toronto about the b20s. He didn’t know anything about them. He asked me if they are in the Accords…
