I need to get a new transmission before mine goes out. I have an automatic but I was wondering if I could get a B18c gsr 5 sd tranny to fit on my stock B18a1 and just do an engine swap for a B18c later? Thanx
B18C tranny is hydraulic. You need a cable tranny, unless you’re willing to convert your whole car over for a hydraulic actuated system.
just like ryan said. get yourself a cable tranny. oh, and be prepared for the auto to manual swap. from what i hear its a pretty big job.
you could get an auto b16 tranny…dont know what the code is for it…but they did have them
