Thanks this stuff won’t crack, i’ve used it before. It’s flexible and made for fixing bumpers and moldings
Found a set of wheels, hopefully picking them up in two weeks, still undecided on a color to get them powdercoated. Old school ARE wheels 16x7.5 +40
Tomorrow I should get my new hardware for the work wheels and will replace it tomorrow also.
i need to claybar, compound and wax mine, so i’m waiting until i get the supplies instead of just wax it, strip it then have to go over it again
I still need to claybar the roof and the quarter panels lol. The new bolts for my wheels came in today but the nuts didn’t, they won’t be here until monday. Sucks but it’s raining anyway and i won’t be working on the car today anyway
Looking good herb
Thanks Steve, how’s that mustang coming along?
Good just dropped my engine and trans in on Saturday should have it up and running mid June
Nice, I’m sure it’s easier to make power with the mustang then the teg lol
jeezus
Meh maybe easier for reliable power, but you can always throw a turbo kit on a teg and make power lol. But I should be around 350-370rwhp with this engine
I opened this thread and saw the trick flow heads and thought interesting, then scrolled down and saw it going in the mustang, lol…thought something crazy might be going on here…carry on sir
Lol, not much update wise other then I changed the fuel filter and the bogging went away but I still get a check engine light after driving for 20 minutes. I ordered a eBay acura emblem just to cover the area that’s not painted from the old one flying off lol, I also ordered some carbon vinyl rap to cover the beat up first gen lip. Tomorrow it’s suppose to be nice and I took the day off so I should have some pic updates
paint time!
Prepping the bumpers for primer
Primed
Pretty happy with the finish, just gotta do a little wetsanding in a few spots. better pics tomorrow
I absolutely love Chroma- products. An awesome line for sure!
Wet sanding always gives the best finish… get to work!
I’ve beento work over the past two days lol, pulled the bumpers off and took the system out to redo it. wet sanded and compounded the passenger door then compounded the rest of the car along with polishing and waxing it. finished that up around 5am and then went to my friends shop to prep the bumpers and primer them, left the shop got the paint, ate some food and crashed out from noon til 230 lol. went back to the shop at 3 to wet sand and paint the bumpers.
Plasti dipped the emblems and strut bar
ebay emblem so I didn’t care lol
Hopefully it will hold up with the heat from the motor
old hardware for the wheels on the left, new on the right, I will do this on sunday or Monday
Gonna be fun lol
About 2 hours from now i’ll be picking up the bumpers to wet sand, compound, polish and wax! more pics later
put in some more work today
rear bumper wet sanded and ready to be compounded, forgot to take pics of the front
terrible phone pic but it still needs to be polished and waxed, plus I still have to sand and paint the trim. tomorrow after I get back from work (even though i’m in pa and on vacation lol) decided to pick up some hours to make some extra cash. better pics tomorrow
Nice!
Definitely in for daytime pictures.
A crappy phone pic of the rear bumper, I need to buff some corners and a few edges still and paint the front bumper grill and trim. I’m gonna try to find my camera to take some good pics.
While i’m waiting for the compound pads to wash I decided to polish the bumper lights…
before
After
Next is the tail lights
