i just installed a brand new alternator and every time i rev it up past 5000 rpm the battery light comes on but after the rpm needle drops below 5k it turns off i am like wtf! help anyone & no ecu codes coming up?
Maybe the alternator belt isn’t tight enough and its slipping in the higher rpms?
it might be that the it is a faulty alternator …cuz i know that our alternators have like two silenoids or something …u might want to get it checked out and while they are checking it …rev it past 5000 or whatever and see if its getting the appropiate reading …
check belt tension and condition
