Time for the check in.
Been years since I have touched the Ol Teggy, Life happens but there been a real fire under me lateley and I thought I post some teaser and rekindle some old connections ![]()
Wish I had time to post more but life calls.
its been almost a solid 5 years since this car has been parked in the garage but finally got out of the garage and onto the road again!!
Shout out to member Deceptakhan for geting me these pitcures:up:

Great to see another one on the road again
Thank you. Is been such a lack luster winter in Colorado. I’ve been wanted to drive the car more and more however the starter has always had an objection to it! So today I decided to dive in and find out why. Grabbed my spare set of starter contact and was ready to give them a swap when I found this.
As I got the started out. It had become very clear the issues. The plunger always fires but never any action starting. This connection was a crusty and corroded. Spent a little time cleaning up all the connection and back in she goes.
All back together and fires right up.

It’s cool seeing OG’s pop in here with updates and that so many of them still have their cars. Love a black DA, sweet build man.
So glad this place is starting to pick up again!
Speaking of them updates. As much as I I’ve my old 90’s alpine and 80 gig OG iPod. It’s time to step into the 21 century.
picked up a ghost box and made up a mount for it.

I’m not following. It’s a box that allows bluetooth? Why not get a DIN receiver that has that included?
The thought process was to put in a block off plate for the factory look while still mainting something to listen to, but that went out the window within the week. connectivity issue along with some other things I was not happy with.. Ended up replacing it with a kenwood bluethooth deck that works so much better.
Love the pix !
