i would like to know which head i have? is it the 1.6 head on a 1.8 block? i am curious if i could put my head on a 3rd gen ls block. does any one know?
not quite sure what you’re talking about.
the 92-93 gsr’s came w/ the b17a motor. the head is the same as the b16a head. the block is the same too, except the internals are different (creating more displacement).
you can put any vtec head on any non vtec block…it just require some slight mods. do a search and learn all about the ls/vtec setup.
thanks, i wasn’t sure if it was the same head as the b16. so what would i need to put my head on a b18 block? is it just bolt on?

that setup is called an ls/vtec…and its been gone over many times. do some of your own research and :search: there is a lot of info just sittin here on this board, more than you’ll get by asking because people don’t want to type it all out again.
