Update on my cluster LED upgrade…
I don’t have picture because it’s really subtle, but I’m starting to see dead spots in the cluster with the LED strip lighting I purchased off Amazon. Either the LEDS are starting to dim or completely fail in certain spots. Anyone else have this issue that did this upgrade? I’m going to have to pull the cluster and check it out. Not looking forward to that. LOL

I’ve been thinking of re-doing mine in red to match up better to my A4 and not destroy my night vision so bad. Given that I work nights I may have to get on it sooner than later but I think I actually have scars on my left forearm from the last time I pulled the cluster out.
hey turbo da 4dr did u put the cluster in your car yet been wondering if u have issue with it? cause im having issue with mine lately fuel and mph works but not working accurately when i fill er up its fine then it suddenly ran out of gas when i was only quarter tank empty so its not accurate anymore and mph stops at 30 when motor is off lol
just wondering if u having any issue with yours? let me know
and da6xsi06 apology for the issue we are having i will try get the gauges sent to u soon as i can right now im working on order a motor for our family car cause the head gasket failed im going to put 3.5rl into our 95 legend

Huh, glad I dodged that bullet way back when. Can the mods delete individual posts so this helpful DIY doesn’t get taken down due to one persons shenanigans?
i got my cluster back from him. just he suppose send me back some bulbs, he never send back yet. i hope to hear from him soon.
sorry to bring this thread from the dead . I bought all the bulbs to convert to led but only half of the cluster lights up. Does that mean I need to buy a used cluster from the junker?
Flip the non working bulbs around. LEDs don’t work if the power is going the wrong direction.

Okay got the cluster to all light up. New my new issue is my darn speeedometer cable not working since it broke. Err wanna trade it for a 92 that has electronic vss lol.
