I ran a search but didn’t come up with anything. A few nights ago I was driving on the highway and pushed my 90 GS to redline and the next morning i noticed that it wasn’t smooth at idle or low RPM’s. When I rev it, it seems to go away. Also there is a ticking that I think is coming from the injectors. When I drive at low RPM’s (sub 1500) it shakes and seems like its about to stall. Please help!
It can be a range of alot of problems.
- valves
- injectors
- timing
- o2 sensor
- faulty map sensor
- fuel filter
Try checking if your ecu is throwing out any codes first. Shuddering can be caused by the things i’ve listed above
Alright thanks a lot man, to check the ECU you just have to pull up the passenger side carpet right?
Ok, I checked the ECU, code 1. I have also noticed the hesitation around 3K RPM’s but that came a little before the shuddering. Any word on O2 sensors?
cold air intakes cause hesitation, so do header, depends…
u get stripped of low and high from 421, and u get high from 41 header, and cai give higher takes low away,…shortrams is less hp, give syou better low pickup
