I have Acura Integra LS 90 with 145k miles and original clutch. I recently had few problems with the clutch, and ended up replacing cable. I adjusted Release Fork Arm free play and made sure there is free play on the pedal too. With that, I can easily shift into gears. However, I get clutch smell quite often. Something to note: I tend to shift gears at high RPM. From my understanding smell is caused by overheating. I am guessing it could be that diaphragm is getting weaker, and clutch is slipping more that it should during engagement. Is there any other reason why clutch would smell?
Thanks,
Greg
