I’m thinking about trying out a all new project!! I intend to try to find a way to fit a C32A into my 92 Teg. I really like the V6 sound plus the fact that everyone arround here has a GSR, SIR, or whatever 4 cyl. possible, so I just feel like doing something not done yet. At least not arround my place.
So if anyone have current updates on that topic or maybe notes trics or oppinion… I’d really like to hear them out!
a)where you are going to install an engine made for a mid engine car
b) how you are going to put power to the wheels
c) how you are going to pay for this
one thing is to do something unique, another is to do something for the sake of “being the one” - you are not the first to think of this, and hopefully, you will not be the last to stop thinking about this. For the cost to do this properly- if there is such a thing, you could buy a used NSX for chrissakes- literally you would have to spend 20-30k for this to work- and you wont EVER get the many benefits of the NSX- you mine as well try and take a ferrari F1 engine to swap it in your tegg and then think you can compete in forumla 1- it’s not goint to do jack shiet for what you would have to pay to get this done
Hey man you have a great idea, but i was thinking about a cl type s and the 6 speed would be a litte easier and obviously newer. Hey if i got a prelude motor in my car you can get the v6 in there. I have seriously thought of the swap as well for something to do, and yes it is an extreme ammount of work but i think it would be extremely cool, good luck
why do this ? you’re car will handle like complete ass , for one , and those guys running b16’s and b18’s will eat you guys alive with minimal mods and alot less money , for the same amount of money (maybe even less) you can probably buy a much more powerful JG built engine. if you want something thats already built.Being unique is one thing being slow is another.

I’d rather have an RPS fully built engine … capable of pounding 850hp on methanol  … $9500 US for that tho.

Anyway, my idea was to put that 3.2L TL engine into my teg, I just love the sound of that engine!
Also one question, on which engine is the original 5 speed trans. of our tegs compatible bolt-on with???
Not sure what your question is, but the J32A never came with a 5-spd in neither the TL or the CL. The 2003 CL-S has an optional 6-spd that you’d have to spend a fortune to acquire. Other than that they’re all automatic.
With that much money you could buy a MK4 supa that runs in the nines in the 1/4 mile with a top speed well over 200 mph.
With that much money you could build a super car capable of out running the CR-NSX. what does the CR stand for ?
An NSX with a blower only puts down 400 at the wheels. pretty pathetic. MK4 supras do more than that with just boltons. Just because its honda’s flagship automobile it isn’t the best motor. I work on them. They suck to work on. The vehicle is over engineered for its own benefit. The engine is just like any other honda just a weakling.
It will not by any modifications fit under the hood of you car.
Yeah it might fit in the hatch but the car with this engine would still be worth <$3000 bucks. The crank and rods alone would set you back this much.
Tell you what you get me $100,000 and I’ll install not one but two C32A engines in your DA. One front and one rear. Think of the burnout you could do.
Better yet buy an S2000 bring it to me. I’ll strip down the engine. Install new sleeves, pistons, rods, balance and blueprint the engine. Install an HKS TO4R and give you back a car that can handle, run circles around the CR-NSX or the INSX in both the drag strip or road course and look like it just rolled out of the showroom.
