Well my hatch will be getting a B18B and a turbo next year. Going to do the swap and body work at the same time around the spring and then by the end of the summer have a turbo on the car. But as any idiot knows for an engine to handle a turbo it needs to be built properly so here I am asking how do I build this thing up. I’d like to have 500whp on tap if possible.
So give me your wisdom guys, thanks in advance.

are you crazy? maybe a little bit on crack? you realize that car will NEVER be a DD with 500whp. you’re going to need ever internal piece replaced with something forged, and a t61… yea thats right… a turbo that wont spool till about 5k, so you might want some upgraded valve train too

You’re going to need a stand alone ecu and big injectors to run 500whp. Why do you want 500whp? Have you ever been in a turbo Honda? Do you know how much 500whp is?

500whp in a full weight plus a sub/amp/and bling bling 18’s is a 10.8 second car in a talon. low tens in a stripped one 
Come on guys go easy on the brother. My suggestion is to go on Honda-tech.com and ask some of the top dogs on there to post there mods. Secondly you have to ask yourself if this is going to be a street car or trailer queen. 3rdly what is your budget? because what you are looking for will cost you well over $10 000. Once you make that power, you have to find some way of putting that power to the ground. My turbo LS is probably making between 250 to 300whp and traction is a real big problem at @10psi.If I were you I would buy somones car with all that stuff your looking for. It will save you huge coin in trial and error and even bigger coin in tuning. Sell your ride and put that together with whatever coin you got to make this 500hp monster and you will come out alot further ahead. Just my 2 cents. But if you make it to next G2 meet in Markham at the Acura dealership on the 24th I believe, then I will take you for a spin. Guaranteed what I have will be more then enough for you, if not resort back to plan A.

2-300 should be way more than enough, any more and no traction, hell even with that you wont get much traction, and you should still run low 13’s high 12’s all day.
I have over 400 whp, and it is just not practical, or safe on the street…I will put it that way.
( and it was very expensive believe me when I say that ! )
Yeah, I’ve given it much more thought and I know that I don’t want the much power my car jsut couldn’t handle it. I’m saying around 200-300 and I should be good.
Should I use a custom set up or a kit?
If you have to ask, you’re better off with a kit.

Also I don’t care if you think it’s a waste of moeny to fix up my automatic Civic, I really don’t. You an asshole buddy. One thing is for sure right now your car may be faster then mine but give me till this time next year and let’s go to the track, I’m talking autocross man not drag and we’ll see who’s ride is better cause with the suspension set up I’ll be running, I’ll be doing laps around your car easily. I rather go around a turn at 100kph with out losing any speed then going in a stright line, any idiot can do that.

Formz TSI - We’ve all heard about how fast your car is, how good of driver, etc and we are kinda losing interest. G2 racer is probably new and is just asking questions to get answers, isn’t that what this board is about.
The G2 Racer - Drag racing and road racing are 2 different sports. It’s like comparing basketball players and football players. It’s going to be hard to drive a 700hp car through curves at 100mph Sears Point, and its going to be hard to get that great launch at the drag strip with a 1000hp drag car.
My tastes have changed over the time. I use to like drag racing know I rather road racing, yes there is skill need to drag race Forumz I know that. There’s also a lot of skill needed to drag race.
Chad - A GSX-R is a very fast bike and it’s much lighter then a civic so of course it’ll beat me. But I’m just saying for your safety I hope you have lots of exp. riding fast bike or you will injure yourself. Also my car isn’t rice, it may seem like I like some of the rice stuff at time but I’ve never bought it for my car. Infact point out the on rice mod that I have? When local shops try to sell me Ractive I tell them no, I leave when they say it’s all the same. I don’t care if you don’t believe I had a GS-R and I don’t care that your car or bike are faster then my car. There’s always going to be someone out there who’s faster then you are right but if you go looking for that person that’s when you get embarassed. It’s true tho Chad. My buddy Andrew has been riding a bike since he was 5 and about a month ago he was turning on to my street doing like 20kph and bit into the front brake a bit to hard and the bike went out from under neith him. He was ok, the bike suffered most of the damage. But remember a bike is dangerous so learn how to drive a slow one first.
My buddy, Andrew, is going to teach me to ride a dirt bike first, that’s the best way to start off. Then I’ll pick up a wreaked bike and fix it up. Just be careful man, don’t want to kill yourself.

g2 racer - as far as me being able to ride a bike I have grown up riding dirt bikes, sport quads, sleds, jet ski’s etc; etc; etc; (not that I need to point this out)
But since I did. I have never driven a ‘crotch rocket’ but my friend who is the mechanic at clair’s motorcycles his uncle is john clair And he told me I can ride all the bikes to get a feel of what would be best. A smooth honda 600cbr or a screaming hayabusa. Or maybe a v-twin kawi 1000 ninja. I dont know yet, dont plan to get till next year. I used the hayabusa because its reguarded as the fastest of the bunch read this months sport rider they turbo chargered theirs and it puts down 230rwhp and does 203mph at the oval track and that was just to show you about “what if”
Maybe in 2 years when I am done computer engineering in school I will land a job in silicon valley with a porshe LoL. Dont know…
