Camber Kit Problems?

I recently purchased an Ingalls camber kit for my front susp., and I just installed it along with new KYB AGX Shocks on my DA. Also, my teg is dropped about 1.5 inches with Tenzo coilovers. Well, immediately after I installed the kit and started to drive it, I could feel and hear rubbing of some sort, probably the tires. Do I just need to adjust the camber kit to a good fit? Did I install it wrong? Could I have possibly over tightened one of the bolt?

Yes, Id recommend taking it to an alignment to get it dialed in.

Did I install it wrong?

Maybe…but doubful if u read the instructions.

Could I have possibly over tightened one of the bolt?

Use a Torque Wrench

i hear a clicking sound every now and then. i just installed mine yesterday. i did the rear camber fix. id like to say that it is working pretty well.

im very concerened with my front wheels though, my steering wheel when its straight it veers to the left a little. i was taking a tight left turn at like 45 and i felt over steer. i mean the car handles very well, but i hear screeching now taking those same turns, but with out as much effort as before. taking that same turn it would be less effort but i would make it without pushing the tires past their limit.

btw, i had to take a metal file to it. those things wouldnt fit. so i tapped them in there lightly. the wheel will barely move back and forth, im not sure if its my fault or what. . . .

Negative camber is generally better for cornering, but will make your tires wear unevenly. This is likely why the tires seem to break away under less cornering force than before. If you ever watch cart/F1 the front tires have noticeable negative camber because it is better for cornering.

i know that. im no idiot. plus this has nothing to do with my question. i used to run 17s with -2.00 degrees of camber. handled like a dream. i realized i need a professional alignment obviously. but has anyone had the problem of the camber kit fitting? the clicking is from a no so tight under bolt on the kit. suttin like that.

is your problem related to this http://www.g2ic.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=39111

Sounds similar to when my front wheels were toed-in. Also check to make sure the rear wheels aren’t toed-out, particularly if you are experiencing oversteer.

When was the last time you had a computer 4-wheel alignment?

quite awhile ago. thanks for your help bro. i appreciate it. i think it is my toe, it might be my front wheels toe in
