the actual Acura manuals are better than anything I’ve seen, covers almost everything I’ve been able to think up however I haven’t seen the helms (I think the acura one is around 2000 pages, they had to split it up between two books) but it’s pricy, I don’t know the exact price cuz I got it for christmas.
helm inc. writes the manual for acura. buy it from helm for $60, or buy it from acura for around $200.

I use a helm’s and a hayne’s together. Sometimes, the helm’s is too in depth if you are doing a easy job. But sometimes, the hayne’s just doesn’t tell enough. Hate to tell you guys, but a helm’s is more than 60. You have to buy a print, which is pretty much a printed copy put in a binder from them. You end up paying a lot of shipping, and you still have to wait a while since they have to print it out. The last time I checked how much it would be it came to around $85. Your best bet would be to hit ebay, or classifieds on places like here and honda-tech. I found two helm’s manuals in good shape one for $12.00 and one for $14.00(on ebay).

the new ones are $59 right from www.helminc.com and there is no binder
i just sold a set of three on here last week for $63 and sent them out today, and i also have a set of three for my use that i will never get rid of and the main manual on my set was $59 new the other to one is $37 and the other is jsut went up in price $2 to $40. the body repair and electrical troubleshooting are the other 2 manuals
Here’s some information,
link showing that manual may be in a binder since it is printed on an order by order basis…I don’t think they are going to bother putting it into a book like the originals, since it is no longer being mass produced.
Guess what it says, a binder may be included since it is a “copy” of the original…doh
Okay, so $62 for the book, $6.95 for handling, then whatever they charge for shipping. If you don’t believe me, go ahead and order one and just see how much you end up spending.
