I recently bought a 1990 Ls, it has all black interior, but the guy who owned it before gutted the interior, i was wonder if the actually carpet is black, or is it that grayish charcoal black?
edit: also does the stock carpet have the little plastic foot part?
sounds like aftermarket stuff to me.
Stock was a dark charcoal grey (to my knowledge) with plastic foot pad.
Dont worry that its not factory carpet, if it looks installed correctly then its no different from OEM carpet. Ive got an all black DA that i gutted and opted for black instead of charcoal carpets too.
it actually depends on the color code of the car. look on your drivers side door jam and it will tell you the color code of the exterior paint and the interior color your car came with. I went to get some seats last week from a 92 GS and I have a 92 RS and the seats did not match my interior…completely different color scheme!
My was Graphite Black…
i only saw the exterior number (BG-22M), didn’t see anything about interior :>
