when i first turn on my car it starts up weak like the battery was dieing, it does this every morning(i guess i need a new batt for that prob.) but the next problem is when i accelerate it chokes at 3k-4k…it feels like it stops sucking gas or something, is that a clogged injector,bad fuel pump…i don’t know, can someone help me out with the fix it…thanx…
well change the battery 1st to fix that problem or ur alternator might be getting weak…then get some fuel injector cleaner and change ur spark plugs(rec.bosch platinum) ,distrubuter cap and rotor and fuel filter…and maybe spark plug wires if they are cracked or look bad…then let us know how it runs
buy that batt and then post again.
The battery would not cause it to choke though…

I found out what was wrong with my starting problem, my positive terminal was on loose and it wasn’t charging the batt., so i tightned it and recharged the battery over night and so far it’s been perfect, My spark plugs(NGK-R) have only been on the car for about 250 miles so they are new, and my spark plug wires look like they are in good condition. I haven’t changed the fuel pump yet but i put in Mystery Oil today, i heard that stuff worked great, it should unclogg my fuel system…I’m going to try that stuff for the next couple fill ups…thanx…i’ll let you know if anything new happens…

Well change the fuel filter not the fuel pump…that should help out also
yea, fuel filter, and cleaning of injectors, go to RC they clean and blueprint your injectors for about 20 bux an injector…has gotta be a fuel problem for sure tho.
I had the same kind of lagg between 3500-4200 rpm. A changed fuel filter fixed the problem.

I fixed the starting problem, thats done with , I added fuel injector cleaner and i changed my fuel filter and still no difference.
It still chokes real bad at 2800 rpm + …the car begins to jerk if you keep accelerating, after it chokes…It’s the worst thing… Piece of $***…
