Clunking while turning...

If you hear clunking, then it’s your stabalizer bar that runs underneath the car from wheel to wheel.

The clunking I am referring to is one clunk as you turn, and then another clunk as you unwind from the turn.

I took my car to the shop and they discovered that a bolt that holds in one side is completely missing, which is why the car clunks.

The cost for the part is $22 CDN. Quick, easy fix that should stop those embarassing clunkings

is this after u got ur axles changed???

Nope, I haven’t changed my axles.

I’m trying to get a diagram of it… when I get it, I’ll post it.

Here ya go…

It’s part number 24 that was torn off, and as a result the stabilizer was only bolted in on one side.

damm cv joint

I got some clicking noise when turning… Took it to Honda today and they told me the CV joint is busted. It’s gonna cost $600 AUS dollars to replace it… and thats excluding installation. :frowning: Oh well, I might get it fixed rather than replaced. Any ideas on how reliable the cv joints are after repair ??
