Hey guys, I have a couple problems that I need help with.
First off, I currently have a 92 Integra Gs with the ys1 cable tranny. Recently, the car has been giving me troubles while trying too shift gears. The thrown is extremly stiff, and sometime with the clutch fully depressed, the car grinds the gears. The clutch Im pretty sure is not gone, seeing as their is now slippage at all, and the car only has 130, 000kms on it. Could it be that I need a new clutch cable, or could my syncros’ be gone in some of my gears? Secondly, I just installed a set of Eibach Sportlines. The car sits lower in the rear than it does in the front, which causes the camber to be off alot in the rear. Does anybody know of a company that makes a decent priced camber kit, or is their a quick fix method to this, seeing as Im trying to save some cash for a new motor
Any help wuld be appreciated,
Thanks.
It sounds like your clutch cable needs to be adjusted to fix your tranny problem. I have done two of those fixes this week alone…
As far as the camber goes, there is a teg tip on this site that tells you how to fix the rear camber problem for really cheap. All that you have to do is put some washers behind the rear upper control arm, that will push the tire back out to where it should be. Beware though, there has been talk of people stripping out their bolts by this method so make sure that you torque the bolts back down to spec and check them after 100 miles or so just to make sure they are tight.

I have already adjusted my cable to the max. How do you install the new clutch cable? Ive heard that it just connects to the clutch pedal, then goes through the firewall to the tranny? Thanks for your help with the camber!
No prob with the camber help…
You pretty much just said how to put a new clutch cable on. If that is what you think the problem is, just give it a shot.
