WHen my auto is cold. in drive, it acts like its in low. it wont shift! But when it gets up to operating temp, where it usually sits, its fine. someone please help! Thanks alot!
I used to get the same thing too sometimes…it’ll stay in 2nd for a while, and then finally shift. I just make sure I warm my car up properly in the mornings. Never had a problem since.
Whew! Thanks alot. I hope thats all it is, but it was worse comin home from work tonite, it lasted alot longer. usually as soon as it gets up to temp. it shifts fine. but it stayed up bout a mile or so and then shifted. should i be worried? But i am gonna start lettin it warm up in the mornings now
Just give your teg a 5 minute warm up before you drive it the first time each day during the winter. My teg and my subaru do the same thing on cold days.
