Compression tested...got ?

edit: sorry didn’t do the test properly.

edit: alrite, we did the test properly this time.

Piston:Compression

#1: 182 psi
#2: 183 psi
#3: 183 psi
#4: 185 psi

It looks a hell of alot normal, can’t believe we were doing it through the crank pulley. But anyway. Thx for the help…

Are my new results normal?

damn! those are awfully low numbers!!! what did you do to mess up your car like that?:stuck_out_tongue:

are those readings psi? or what?

lbs per square inch, yes psi.

man that sounded really bad. give her a try and let use know what it is.
good luck

yeah, aznkt, i thought maybe you were posting some other kind of numbers or something. 20’s across the board is just horrible… i could probably get better compression squishing air in the palm of my hands… :stuck_out_tongue: post back up and let’s take a look at the numbers.

your car could never start if u had 20 psi but 20 psi could mean your timing is off. which happened to me i didnt put the timing belt back on probably and it was off a tooth and my psi read 90 psi across and it would start on when i had it to full throttle.

yea, we performed the test wrong, instead of crankng with full throttle, we cranked with our hands on the crank pulley…i’ll try it again and post back up

oh yea, and which fuse is to disable the fuel? The previous owners took off the sticker of the engine bay fuses…

oh u not going to get barely any compression like that stick her in there and give her hog. turn her over a few times to get a good reading
