ctr and itr cam

ive decided to go with a ctr intake cam, itr exhaust cam, head gasket reduction, and itr valve springs on my basically stock G1 B16a. what kind of difference can i excpect? thanks. -Dan

You forgot to mention that you have a V-AFC. With the V-AFC (raising your VTEC x-over to 5700rpm) you’ll notice a huge difference. The B16A cams are the weakest among all VTEC cams. Estimation of about 10-15whp. But that’s just an estimate.

alright dan, you always have that abilty to make someones day a million times better, anyone ever told you that? im sure other people on this board can relate. :). the thing im really looking forward to is the sound. i want to hear the VTEC happining instead of just a louder intake charge. hehehe. thanks. -Dan

You need to get some head, then race, it will improve your times, also take off the ground zero sticker, it slows you down!

HHAAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA. yes indeed. i heard it was clinically proven that getting head actually cuts time off your 1/4 mile by up to 4 tenths! oh and not being associated with ground zero immidietly improves gas milage and eliminates major stress in ones life. -Dan

while your at it get a itr intake mainfold and bored tbody cam gears and get it tuned for the most horsepower , btw you might want to get a fpr or chipped ecu good luck
