i want too put ctr cams in my b16a i was wonder if anybody here has them in there stock head. because i was wondering if it was allwright too put them in mine with stock retainers and going too 8 grand only

yes that will be perfectly fine. as long as you just shift at your stock redline…
i went w/ the ITR valvesprings and titanium retainers, so i can take full advantage of the CAMs’ power (once i chip my ECU)
Yeah I’m running ITR cams w/ B16A stock valve springs. I wouldn’t go beyond 8k just yet. I shift at MAX 7.5k, just to be safe, when I want to go fast even though my ECU has a 9,200prm redline. I’ve seen some cheap prices on ITR valve springs complete set with retainers. Saw some on eBay for $229.00 Buy Now for all springs and retainers. Pretty good I’d say.
Oh yeah, don’t forget to adjust your valves after you put the cams in!
