Cutting and welding back stick shift.

i’d recommend that, being the time investment if you’re the welder, and/or the money investment if you’re not, damn dude just get a short shifter off ebay. they go for like 30 bucks nowadays…

Yeah I did that mod and would highly recommend it if you have a welder to use. If not just go buy a shortshifter…I just like free mods

It’s really easy to install a SS. It took me about 30 to 45 mins…would probably have been faster, but a few bolts were seized. Here’s the procedure from the Teg Tips section…it comes with picutres now too.

dude i got a short shifter off of ebay its an OBX shifter so it aint that great but it does the job you can look for them just type obx short shift but it was 25 dollars and and it was a breeze to put on aint no thing.

Dont you have to get under the car, take of the whole exhaust, take out the entire shifting assembly, and then do a whole lot more??

ive done this 2 and im going to get pics up as soon as i take it out of my car and put it in my gf’s teg. you have to have some skillz in welding but i think the time put into making it, makes you more connected to your car.
