im wondering if the del sol seats (black with red stripe) will fit into a g2 if i were to use the manual seatbelt assembly from an canadian g2?
has any one done this before?

why would you use del sol seats? i dont understand everyones obsession with those. They’re like metal folding chairs. Blah. Get something nice.

metal folding chairs? well, all i have to say is the del sol seats are much more comfy than stock teg seats. the only downside i can see is for shorter people. because the del sol seats sit lower when in a teg. oh BTW Type S… :search:

Why don’t you… buy some nice 92-96 prelude seats… and weld the rails… or bolt em up all nice like… and have yourself a nice bucket seat… instead of some weird folding chair ugly striped piece of junk in your car? =) just my opinion. But on the real, the 'lude seats or 200 times better. Peace.
reason i want the delsol seats is because im 6’2 220 lb, needless to say the delsol seats allow me to sit lower and give me and my helmit more clearance.

:vomit: del sol seats do sit lower and are very comfortable in my g2, i was able to put the strap box on the side, it should give you between 2-3 inches for head room, whats your e-mail i send you some pics

That’s why i want del sol seats too. 
I just got done installing my DelSol seats in my DA using battlecats instructions and they fit in perfectly. All i had were screwdrivers, a hammer, socket set and an electric drill with various size drill bits. Took me 2 days off and on to get them to work. I rate this a #6 on the difficulty ladder with the tools I had.

to me this is the only disadvantage… drinks wont stay put cause the seat is narrower.

my buddy bobby put a set in his old DA. i rode with him in the car with the DelSol seats, and it was pretty comfy. i hated driving the car though, the clutch was pretty much destroyed when he bought it, and sucked just as bad when he sold it. but anyway, the seats were actually pretty nice, he had the red stripe in the center re-upholtered in blue to match the theme of his car (black and blue) it looked really nice. no pics though, before i had a cam.
