I put some coilovers on about 2 months ago, and the front rattles alot. The local import shop says that they all rattle, but it is really irritating. Any body else have this problem. The ride is good. Just rattles. Still stock shocks.
did you put rubber rings over your strut under the collar?
thats probably whats rattlign is the collar against the strut
coilovers should NOT rattle. If they rattle then you’re either having auditory hallucinations, or there is something wrong w/ the coilovers or how they were installed.
like gigarange questioned: did they use the rubber o rings?
I put the rubber ring at the top of the collar, but i didn’t put one at the bottom of the collar also. You think that is it?
could be. you should have put on as many o rings as possible. Also, did you remember to affix the o rings w/ some duct tape?
nope, that is probably the problem. I am gonna do that tomorrow, and I’ll let you know how it works out.

Colin, I put more o-rings in and it is still rattling. Do you think that the stock shocks could just be bottoming out? I have it pretty low, the perches are only about 1 inch from the bottom. What’s that about 2.5 or 3 inches?
