Dual Exhaust Question

How do i go about this do they sell the headers that go 4-2 of is it impossible to get true dual exhaust on a integra

putting a Y pipe and going dual right from the header your probably going to be hard pressed to do just because of space constraints under the car. With 2.5" single pipeing you usually have to remove the heatshielding to have a non rattling exhaust just to give you an idea of the amount of room under there.
Then there’s clearing the rear passenger side suspension…thats also close especially on a lowered car.
What I’d suggest if your dead seat on haveing a dual exiting exhaust is to get a muffler with dual exits.
A friend of mine used an axle back section from a Camaro and had custom brackets used to mount it.
Or you could always get a muffler shop to custom make you pipeing and hangers for dual universal muffler’s. The Camaro one would probably be a lot cheaper though…and just get whatever tips you want put on it.

Didn’t you ask this same question in this forum under “How do you make True Dual Exhaust”? You should just keep that thread going instead of opening new ones asking the same exact thing…I’m not flaming you, just giving you some friendly advice

yea i know i did

but the thing is my body kit has the 2 openings for it and i don’t want to just have this other opening hangin out back there ya no

Yeah, I know what you mean…but the thing you gotta keep in mind is that when those companies make dual exhaust openings in their body kits, they’re mainly designed for show, especially on our cars…that’s what the other guys were trying to tell you: dual exhausts have no performance value on our cars…they’re just for show…

now if you’re hell bent on utilizing a dual exit exhaust on your ride, well, that Camaro dual exit exhaust sounds feasible…especially considering the layout of our mufflers…

to each his own…

ok well i though it over and do you think i could just fiberglass the other opening shut before i get it painted

thats also possible to just get it closed up. I’ve seen that done on a Black Widow rear before
