if you really want dual exhaust, get a muffler similiar to one on a camaro z28. it sits the same way ours does(side to side) and has and inlet on the passenger side and outlets on both sides. otherwise you can get a cat with one inlet (from header) and 2 outlets (to mufflers). this is how it is done on my dad’s v8 oldsmobile. that is the closest you will get to true dual exhaust. if you just want the dual outlets coming out of your bumper, get a “camaro” style exhaust, it will fit. if you want something that is loud, go get a flowmaster!!! j/k
Wouldn’t it be better to get like 1.25" piping from cat-back on a dual setup? You only have 1/2 the exhaust gas flowing right, so in theory you would only need 1/2 the piping size. That way you wouldnt lose exhaust velocity and you would have a cool sound. I’ve had this idea of having 2 exhaust tips, 1 big one for a throaty sound and 1 smaller one for a higher sound, maybe give it a dual-note sound I guess. Probably wont look good but i think it would be fun to try sometime
You could do a dummy muffler / tip. One muffler would be the real deal while the other is for show. Just make sure you clean the real one often.
