lol, It was indeed hard for me to sell the DB1. The comeback of “enron” makes me miss my DB1 for once… And Hybrid_DA sitting to my right added “hell yea, and i held onto my shell for 2 years”.

ok, since everyone is coming clean, i am also a smartass. when i was 16 i wasnt sure what car i wanted, as i knew i wanted to modify something. a year later my friend a year older than me bought a 96 gsr, after riding in it i knew i wanted an integra, and found the second gens. so i picked one up about two years ago, and just recently got rid of it. altho i still love the car, im sure others can agree i grew up and out of all the bs associated with driving a modified honda. i stick around because of the people i have met through the honda scene.

Although I talk shit about G2s I have alotta love for them. This place is my home… I’m on every bimmer forum i can join with my E34. But look… My E34 is out in the driveway in my garage is a DA. Although garagekansai’s. The G2 Integra is the only Honda i’ll ever reconsider again at this point, Maybe after my E34 is up to par on my standards and i have another BMW or a X-Runner for a toy i’ll get my old DB1 back if not a clean DB2… BMW forums are kind but i don’t trust them. Since 2004 G2IC has been my home forum and it will remain so. I’m just comforable here…
Same with Hybrid_DA, He talks shit about the X-runner forums… This place is just so “homeish”… So no matter what we say we both have love for the DA/DB1/DB2… Its just our home…
BTW, Original poster, You can add me and Hybrid_DA to the list… Although Hybrid has a newer join date he’s been here on and off for as long as I have… He’s had his DA for quite awhile and held onto his shell for 2 years sitting in his driveway, I’ve seen it… He was so proud of it, Although you may not know us, Other people do and we’re assholes. But were good assholes trying to do right no matter what we may say. Derka=Sebastian knows all to well as I consider him under my wing… I know more about these cars then I do BMWs… On the bimmer forums their talking “M50s” which took me a second to realize… “oh thats the 4.0L V8 Engine in the E34”… Where if someone were to come up to me and talk about B16, B18, B20, K20 etc… I’ll know right off the batt what their saying…
Although we talk shit, Me and Alex (Hybrid_da) have much love for the G2s as it’s our routes into the import tuner world… Garagekansai aswell, We spent the whole day working on his car. If you look at my house know…
Guess what, my E34 has been kicked out of its garage for the DA… My E34 sits out in the driveway open to the elements of nature and our rock hard water supply (sprinklers=water marks) for a DA… Alex’s X-Runner stood out on the fucking street, He didn’t stay over but our sprinkler system did go off for abit… Don’t count us out yet… I have enough people to back up my statements… I’ve been here for years, I know alot of people and have many vouches, I mean well but cannot get my word across gently… The DA/DB1/DB2 is a timeless vehicle to its simple yet sharp lines to its although torqueless power that somehow can make amazingliy low 1/4 mile times. Honda is a wonder in the car world i found out. Although barely any torque exist, They are capable of amazing things…
I did find RWD/AWD to be an EASYER platform to work with, As did Hybrid_DA. But i’m sure a DA with the right suspension/tire/brake setup can keep up with us if not out perfrorm us regaurdless what we say… We have love for our old G2s… I mean i held on to my DB1 for almost 5 years… It was apart of me, Fortunately it went to a VERY good friend of mine where I can see it and have a chance to buy it back when I get the money. Hybrid held onto a fucking shell for 2 years, he kept it under a car cover and did work to it when he had the chance with dreams of bringing it back to life until he ended up doing payments on a (awesome) 2009 Toyota Tacoma X-Runner… Priorities come first, He needed a vehicle that he can enjoy, I needed a vehicle that wouldn’t break down every week as i’m unemployed.
I speak on me, Hybrid_DA and garagekansai’s behalf when i say, don’t count us out just yet… All of us will be back. G2’s are so easy to modify its amazing… If i want to start tuning my E34 i might aswell bend over now.

I mean i met Kyle even before he found his DA. Which i was quite surprised he found a flawless DA… Franks old red DA (90Integ), John, Kevin (tegboi) when it was silver and Left hand drive… I’ve been around for a long time and i’m not going anywhere… Joey (out2awe, although i think he changed his name) i’ve known for about 2 years now and notice any little thing he changes on his DA… I’m fucking OG… The Norcal meets til just recently… All me. I knew i was leaving the G2 scene for abit and i’m quite glad the new generation are keeping the spirit alive. Like Kyle, I remember when he thought i was mad at him for taking over… No, It was a sigh of relief. The G2 commuting in Norcal was strong when i and tegboi dominated it. And i like to see it still alive today. Regaurdless if i talk shit on it, Thats just me… I talk shit about everything… But inside… I didn’t want my hard work on keeping the G2 community together go to waste. When I joined, the Norcal scene was dying as 00Z71, Gen2gsr and all the OGs were growing out of this phase… me and tegboi both put life into this… And we’re both (i’m sure he is) quite glad to see our legacy live on through a whole new generation… I may not have G2, But i ain’t going no where… I’m going to stick around and make sure you fuckers do this shit right. So far i have no real complaints as you guys learn things by trial and error. But if any back up is needed… I do owe 91_LS a favor for offering services in helping me with smog on the DB1, Although it was’nt used it was still offered for that i owe a helping hand… Although i don’t find the new generation to be the brightest bunch, You guys will learn as i did by trial and error… But none the less, For keeping the legacy of the norcal chapter of G2IC alive even after me and tegboi have left. I owe nothing but grattitude and respect 
… It was hard for me to establish my name as a legitimate organizer of events, I’ve organized events where about 20 G2s have showed up, and i’ve organized events where me and only 1 or 2 other G2s showed up… It’s all trial and error, You guys will learn from your mistakes as i did… I will gladly pass the torch onto Kyle (91_LS) as he so far has appeared to be as enthusiastic about G2IC as i have back in the days… Although tegless, I will show up to every G2IC even I can… G2IC is my home, There’s a BMW BBQ sunday morning… You know what, Fuck it… I’m going to work on a DA instead. A DA is what I know, I made my closest friends on here that i hope i will for the rest of my life… I’m in no rush to make new friends as i find these friends not easily replaceable… I made alot of good friends here, If i can remember your name, You have it good with me. And if i don’t you’re on your way… Joey, Kyle, Frank, Spike, Ryan, Kevin… The list goes on and on. I’ve met douchebags on here (Devious for example, Kyle ask frank if you want to know, he knows all about Josh)… But i also made friends for life on here… Alex (Hybrid_DA), CinoDA (Omar), Garagekansai (Spike), possibly 91LS (Kyle)… Although tegless, I ain’t going nowhere… Alex has been around for awhile, I didn’t meet him til like 8 months ago and thats only because he used to work next door to my dad, But i brought him into this. So he is my responsibility. He is exactly like me… We both talk shit but we both mean well, So don’t get TOOO offended by what he says… He is my best buddy and if he gets shunned i will to, If he gets banned, I will to.
