hey, I was wondering what you guys thought about thoughs “type-r” shift knobs, they are only like $10-$20 dollars on ebay. has any body ever go one? what about quality? I don’t think that they are all real JDM, but I just want a short, cheap, and good looking shift knob. thanks! 
They’re nice but look goofy on a stock shifter because they make the shifter look longer. On a short shifter it looks better but I had trouble getting it to screw on to my b&m short shifter so I gave it to my sister who has a civic. It does have a good weight to it though and I probably would have kept it if the threads in it hadn’t started stripping when I tried screwing it in. Now I’m back to the stock shift knob.
what about thoughs silver mugen ones?? I don’t want a really tall one, and they look tall.
