# ecu question

me and my mechanic were looking at my cars Ecu because i was gonna get a vtec controller and come to find out i have a GSR ECU…i got this car from an auction so i really didnt know all that they did to before…anyway i got a b16a3 motor and my question is that is that a good idea to run that set up? i know the gsr is a bad azz motor but wont it give the the wrong amount of fuel and air? I mean 1.6 and 1.8 is a difference…My car has a gassy kinda smell when im drive…is it running to much fuel? i have a fuel pressure regulator …what would be a good setting for that? thanx to all that reply:up:
