Is it possible for engine mounts to make a rattling sound as well?
I know my mounts are toast but just wondering if this could be my rattling sound that I have been trying to diagnose for the past year. If so which should I replace to correct engine shifting.

(this may be hard to do with a 5 spd) Put you car in gear,Hold in the brake (or the ebrake might wrk as well i never tried it) And let out the clutch as if you were going to drive somewhere and youll feel the engine shift if you need new mounts, they may make a click but i dont know about a rattle this might help you diagnose that though;)
