I am setting up my car for turbo this summer, and I am doing everything auxilary first.
I dont have any exact details on my project, but I am shooting for 300hp, no idea about torque. Will 2.5 inch exhaust piping be fine, or do I need to go to 3 inches?
I want to fab my exhaust now, and have it on for the summer while I am working on my turbo. I dont want any compromises on my tubomatic, so if 2.5 inch piping will be an issue, let me know.

2.5" is fine. Get the mandrel bent pipes from Kteller 
Yea, I think Ill grab some of their stuff, I wanna check out summit’s piping too, I got a 40$off coupon there, may not use it for this though. Is kteller really that great? I’m thinking on their stainless stuff.
One more thing, I want to have a quiet exhaust ( I know its not possible to go performance and remain silent, but quieter then rice is doable) So I want to have a really nice muffler and probably a 2 foot resonator. Will it be fine if I can find a 22+ inch resonator to basically sue as my b-pipe and a dual loop muffler? Becuase apparently a long res and a 2 loop muffler are great flowing quieter solutions.
I used the Kteller 2.5" all the way back, an 18" resonator and a Magnaflow Oval ES muffler.
My car sounds stock until that wastegate opens…
I was thinking on that too, but I was told that the Magnaflow stuff is generally raspy, and all of my friends have V8’s so I have 0 experience with import exhuasts, although I did help my dad set up his SRT-4 which is practically an import

you have to remember a turbo will quiet your exhaust alot by itself. I know someone running a Greddy SP2 off a hi-flo cat and his set-up is very quiet. He’s also putting down around 300whp.
true, to an extent. im running 3" dp with a 2.5" testpipe into a greddy evo catback, and my car is pretty damn loud (its not high pitched like bumble bee loud, its lower than that)
you should be fine with 2.5". for my next exhaust i will be putting together pretty much the same setup xenocron recommended to you, so im gonna have to recommend it as well
A turbo is a muffler in itself. The ES tuning muffler is the same as the oval Magnaflow mufflers you can find at KTeller.com
I had one on an NA LS with 2.25’’ piping and it was deep as hell at idle.
